The Ridge Hotel New York

I stayed at The Ridge Hotel for 3 nights during my trip to the Big Apple. The rooftop deck provided breathtaking views of both the north and south sides of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Nolita, Soho, East Village, and LES. We found plenty of cool bars and restaurants within walking distance, and subway stops were conveniently close by.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

As youngsters, we loved the rooftop terrace with its amazing views. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our own food and drinks.

Felt like a true escape, staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.

The location of this budget hotel is fantastic, with Whole Foods and great restaurants just a couple of blocks away. It's also very close to the subway, making it easy to explore the city and visit various attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing maps and answering any questions. The rooms may be small, but they are clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views.

The wifi can be weak and unstable at times.

Everything was beautiful, stylish hotel, the location was stunning right by a subway station which made travelling very easy and a number of nice restaurants and trendy restaurants and shops. There was plenty of food for breakfast, everything was amazing. Liked the standard twin room with bunk beds, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

No complaints, had an amazing stay on a business trip. Fairly clean affordable hotel, the location and stuff were very good. The room was functional, with bunk beds. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that a metro station was near the venue.

Found a great hotel nestled away from the typical busy touristy areas in a very cool neighborhood. Everything I needed was within walking distance including access to a subway station. Room was comfortable and clean with beautiful artwork and decor by local artists. Staff was lovely, friendly and accommodating. The rooftop balcony was an added bonus where I could enjoy a beer bought from the nearby beer and spirit shop.

The quality of the doors and windows in the room was lower than expected.

We had a very good stay, the hotel was small, exceptionally clean, with brilliant location close to the underground. The atmosphere created here was individual!

Perfect location in the East Village for exploring the vibrant music scene, improv shows, and a wide selection of restaurants and bars. Conveniently situated near a metro station for easy access to other parts of the city. Pleasant staff and a clean and comfortable room.

It was truly an absolutely amazing stay at East Houston Hotel, the venue suited our needs.

Nice place for short stay. Hotel is contemporary, I appreciated great staff and rooms. Near a subway station, very nice area. Check out is late. Moreover it has free wifi to surf the net etc

The location of the hotel was fantastic for our city break. It was just a short walk from the metro station, making it super convenient to explore different parts of the city. We were able to easily visit SoHo, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side, which were all within walking distance. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially when we had a maintenance issue with our room. They attended to it promptly and with a great attitude.

One downside of the hotel was the size of the rooms. They were quite small and cramped, which was expected for a city hotel, but it could be a bit uncomfortable if you have a lot of luggage or like to have more space.

We had a very comfortable time in this boutique style hotel in New York City. Our room had an exceptionally comfortable bed and an awesome view. This accommodation was in the central location very close to subway.

Excellent location near subway station. Seamless contactless check-in process. Comfy bed, hot shower, and clean sheets. Stunning city views from the roof terrace. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location was fab, within easy walking distance of Bowery Street. Amazing restaurant an easy walk to the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the room, which was updated.

- Close to the subway. - Comfort with provision of snacks and drinks on the ground floor... - Jonathan at the reception desk for his attitude and advice on food and places to visit.

- Very bad soundproofing. (Corridor, street, shower.). - Noise of the ventilation that turns on automatically at regular intervals... - When we left for the airport, the reception staff didn't hesitate to scare us by telling us that we would be seriously delayed if we took the metro. Their only goal was to charge us for a taxi for their own benefit when we were way ahead of schedule. We still took the metro and arrived 2h30 in advance. The proposal would have been well received if it had been benevolent.

Great location close to the subway, making all major tourist spots easily accessible. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Clean and comfortable beds. Amazing views of the city from higher floors and rooftop.

Great Location, Close to Subway and Restaurants

The hotel is very well located to visit the south of Manhattan, subway just in front of the hotel and bus line 15 direct and at the foot of the hotel to get to the Statue of Liberty pier, however Time Square is about 15 minutes from the subway, very friendly and helpful staff.No breakfast service but the hotel has a cafeteria with coffee and tea (and small muffins) at your disposal, there is even a microwave (and also a computer with a printer available and self-service), many restaurants and 1 organic supermarket near the hotel. Very good bedding, daily cleaning ... I would be happy to come back to this hotel

Hotel above our expectations. Very clean. Very good location! . The staff is super nice and professional. Free breakfast and coffee... all day long... Really a hotel to stay in when you come to New York.

Affordable hotel in a prime location in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood. Excellent service from the friendly and accommodating staff. the hotel offers a lovely rooftop area with great views. Convenient for exploring all the main districts of the city.

The hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay, which resulted in some minor inconveniences. the rooms were on the smaller side, but still served as a comfortable base for exploring the city.

This hotel provides great value for the money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is superb, nestled among the last of the great LES Jewish food establishments, and conveniently near the subway for practical transportation. It's also situated on an avenue, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the staff is friendly and provides excellent service.

The only downside was the very noisy air conditioning system.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. When we forgot our charger adapter, they lent us one without hesitation. Additionally, the lobby area was comfortable and provided fresh lemonade, cold water, tea, coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We thought the room was too small. Everything else was perfect.

Everything was perfect! Top-notch staff, welcoming and always ready to help... hotel is very well located to discover New York, we could do everything on foot without taking the subway... After long days of visiting, shower and bedding are totally up to our expectations... If we had to come back to New York, we would come back to this hotel without hesitation.

The location is excellent, it has a subway on the corner, the facilities are new, the bed is very comfortable, there is no breakfast but there is coffee, tea, muffins, croissants, etc, and you can use that space for breakfast or lunch because there is a microwave and a small refrigerator where we were allowed to keep some of our things.

The Ridge hotel offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable and the amenities provided are basic but sufficient. The location is incredibly convenient, with a subway station nearby making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the staff at this hotel are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay.

This hotel was a great choice and there are no major improvements needed.

The hotel is perfectly clean, with best personal, and offers perfect location near several subways and Lower East Side and central Manhattan. Manhattan district is worth looking into.

I loved staff and location on site the hotel. Lots of supplies in the room : central heating, a safe and a writing desk. The venue was a superb base for enjoying a beautiful area, near to a subway station which made travelling very easy and subway and shops.
